Research and Interests

Below are links and descriptions of the various work I have done lately
Detail Preserving Color Transformation

My dissertation work - How can we create images in low dimensional gamuts (e.g. gray scale, color deficient vision) to preserve the visual detail of the color original.
Lattice Boltzmann Lighting

Generally, the lattice-Boltzmann method is used for fluid simulation. Here we investigated how it could be used to simulate light scattering in media
Fluid Flow

Some older results with lattice Boltzmann fluid simulation, and some newer results from semi-Lagrangian flows
Graph Drawing

A fun side project from some code I wrote for my dissertation work.
Parallel OpenGL

For quite some time now, we've been doing parallel rendering on a large vis cluster with a sizable display wall. Fun pictures await.
High Dynamic Range Images

A fun adventure to play with digital cameras.. until you have to give them back.
Fun with Legos

A safari into Andrew's obsession.
